Publishing a drop

What happens when I publish?

  1. Publish it

    Publishing puts the drop on your storefront. Customers can order during the window you set — not before it opens, not after it closes.

  2. It goes live and counts down

    The drop shows its status and the time left until ordering closes.

  3. Copy the link

    Publishing does not tell anyone. This link is what brings customers to the drop — post it wherever they already follow you.

  4. Or use the QR code

    Every drop has its own QR code. Print it and put it on the table, on the box, or in the window.

A drop can only be published when Stripe can take card payments for you. If it can't, DropQ saves your work as a draft instead of putting a checkout in front of customers that cannot take their money.
